Our baby rooms are equipped to a very high standard and create a homely and nurturing environment with lots of bright display work. We encourage learning through sensory activities such as painting, sand and water and messy play. We encourage different types of listening skills by providing activities such as story reading, singing during circle time, playing with musical instruments and playing different types of music to the babies during the day.
For the very small babies we have an area that is padded with blankets and cushions so the non-crawlers can be comfortably protected and enjoy the security of their own area.
The babies have a very special play area outside which is soft surfaced for them to crawl about on or take their first steps on without falling and hurting themselves. There is a canopy for them to sit under and still play outside no matter what the weather permits.
At the end of each day a going home diary is filled out for you so that you know exactly what your baby has played with, eaten, slept and other information that you might require.
Our toddler room is spacious for the early walkers to explore. Learning on the move is an essential part of the children’s development and so areas have been created within the room to encourage the children to move freely between activities.
From the home corner, to the construction area, to the messy area and to the book corner it is no wonder that they have such a pleasant and well deserved sleep in our quiet area, where each child has their own bed and bed linen.
